40 competitors, 20 women and 20 men will be present on the second largest beach of the country, bordered by the Pacific Ocean. On condition that they have been selected by their national federations for the ISA World Surfing Games 2019 and 2020. Surfers will therefore be able to be eligible for Olympic qualification.
