On Lake Putrajaya, it’s the French Manon Costard, who wins the much-awaited victory of the World Slalom Champion!

In front of the American favourite Regina Jaquess and the new Zealander Jaime Metcalfe… Manon fulfilled her dream by winning the gold medal for France, expected since 1973.

After dominating the qualifying rounds, Manon completed a 3 buoy course with a 10.75m rope in a decisive round after a draw with Regina Jaquess.
